The university has a long and proud
history as an internationally focused university and the launch of sixteen
postgraduate scholarships for Indian students is in keeping with that
tradition. The scholarships are being offered in any of the
universitys taught masters courses offered in Arts,
Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, Computer Science, Engineering,
Mathematics and Health Sciences. Scholarships are valued at
3,000 each for one year. The universitys Faculty of Arts,
Humanities and Social Sciences is offering five scholarships in its taught
postgraduate courses. The Faculty of Health Sciences is also offering
five scholarships in its taught postgraduate courses and the Faculty of
Engineering, Mathematics and Science is offering four scholarships in its
taught postgraduate courses.
Additionally, two postgraduate
research scholarships valued at 6,000 per year are being offered for
three years for full-time study on a PhD programme. The scholarships can be for
postgraduate research in any discipline of the faculty provided the supervision
expertise is available.

information. The university is also offering a number of undergraduate
scholarships for eligible Indian students.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be Indian
nationals and resident in India and eligible for overseas tuition
fees (non EU).
Candidates must demonstrate
academic ability and performance. The scholarships will be competitively
awarded based on the results in a relevant undergraduate degree.
Candidates
pursuing taught postgraduate courses are eligible for 14 scholarships in arts,
humanities, social sciences, engineering, mathematics, science and health
sciences.
Candidates
pursuing postgraduate research courses are eligible for two scholarships in
engineering, mathematics and science.
Trinity College Dublin, the University

To coincide with the launch of just
released movie Ek Tha Tiger and to celebrate Trinity
College Dublins lead role in the film, a delegation from the university is
hosting a screening of Ek Tha Tiger in five Indian cities
(Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Calcutta, and Delhi) this August. The Delhi
screening took place today with over 200 school children, their parents,
teachers and alumni of the College in attendance to see Trinity College Dublins
Bollywood debut. They were also introduced to the range of
educational opportunities available at Trinity College Dublin, one of Europes
leading universities and a world leader in many disciplines.
